Video installation & performance/lecture by Joan Grossman featured in group show, “The Searchers,” at EFA Gallery, New York.  Nov. 2006-Jan. 2007;   Feldman Gallery + Project Space, Portland OR, April-May 2008.

The compulsion to war and its virtualization are explored in this experimental work about war in a “culture of forgetting.”  Gallery installation featured video monitor and posting of Wikipedia list of deaths from wars throughout history. Live performance with video projection was a centerpiece event of the show.
